They're like the front cover to a great book, or an amuse-bouche at a great restaurant - they clue you in to the experience you're about to have. To me, they set the tone for what the interior design should reflect and the influences that the homeowner appreciates - whether they're stately, polished, bohemian, wild, crisp, classic, modern, etc - they create a mood that embraces anyone who enters. What do you think - is the front door a peak into the soul of home hinting at what the interior will reflect?
